The partners of PKF Kenya and Grant Thornton, Kenya are please
to announce the merger of the two firms with effect from 1 January
2012. The merged firms will continue business under the name of PKF
Kenya
The combined operation will have eight offices in the following
Easter African countries:
Kenya: Nairobi, Mobasa Kisumu, Nakuru and
Malindi
Uganda: Kampala
Tanzania: Dar -es-Salaam
Rwanda: Kigali
This merger will bring together the rich heritage of both the
firms. Grant Thornton, Kenya has been in operation since 1937
(74Yrs), while PKF Kenya since 1964 (47 Yrs).
The combined resources of the merged firm will then have 25
partners and 490 staff across the group to serve around 2700
assurance clients an da greater number of tax and secretarial
client. This will make us one of the leading firms in the region in
terms of number of clients and professional resources.
