Comparing Chinese and International Accounting Standards

'Brief on the IFRS and Comparisons with CAS' is a new book written by Dr. Jianxin Wang, an accounting expert at the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China.

The purpose of the book is to explain the differences between IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and CAS (Chinese Accounting Standards).

It is planned that the book will be used to educate and train participants of joint accountancy education programmes between the NIA (National Institute of Accountants) based in Australia and CEC/CEDA (China Enterprise Confederation/China Enterprise Directors Association).

However, the book will also be of interest to a wider audience in terms of knowledge about how different accounting standards can vary across different countries.
