All audit firms which perform audit work on listed companies now have to be registered by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board in Switzerland (PCAOB-CH).
Registration along with a work paper file review takes place on a regular basis to ensure that the quality standard within audit firms meets the required International audit standards.
PKF Wirtschaftsprüfung AG (in Zürich) is proud to have obtained the definite licence, which is the highest audit quality level given by the PCAOB-CH. As per end of 2009 only six audit firms in Switzerland have had the definite approval,out of 28 registered companies.
