PKF Russian-speaking cluster meeting goes from strength to strength!

05 Jun 2019

The cluster initiative at PKF International began 4 years ago, of which the PKF Russian-speaking cluster was quick to take off. Language capability, historical background and similarities in regulations have given this initiative an immediate good start and everyone involved has been committed to making this dynamic collaboration work.

The Russian-speaking cluster meeting took place in Moscow, capital city of Russian Federation in May 2019. Despite the current geo political landscape, the meeting was very popular among participants from other Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries and even other PKF regions including  participants from PKF member firms in Germany, Luxembourg, China, Ukraine, Cyprus and the Czech Republic.

Connectivity in this cluster has already brought its members a great amount of work and broadened their experience. Collaborating on mutual assignments and constantly enhancing cross-border client service has led to cluster strategy development – the main theme of this meeting. The firms have expanded their geographical reach and are keen to continue by pursuing opportunities within the ‘One Belt – One Road’ project, as well as  going for large and cross-border advisory projects in the CIS and overseas.

The hard work has paid off as the cluster keeps growing and we continue to add new firms to the PKF Family. In the last couple of years we have welcomed firms in Azerbaijan, Moscow, Armenia and Kazakhstan.

Alexander Radutsky, PKF MEF Managing Director, noted that the network brings competitive advantages through sharing knowledge and resources and builds unique skills and experience through exposure to cross-border projects for global clients.

Irina Kashtanova, owner at PKF Ukraine said, “the Russian-speaking cluster initiative serves as a great inspiration in the day-to-day business and helps firms stay connected with the network and with fellow PKF professionals, using shared advice and support.”

We are very excited to host future meetings and look forward to working on new projects together. Some of them have already been discussed during the meeting including cross-border collaborations between Cyprus, Belarus, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China, Ukraine and Germany and much more…

Join the next Russian-speaking cluster meeting this Autumn and experience for yourself how collaboration benefits us all.
