01 Sep 2015
Kennedy & Co, a leading Adelaide mid-tier accountancy and business advisory firm has joined the PKF network as of 1 September, 2015.
Dom Cosentino, Managing Partner of the newly-named PKF Kennedy, said "as the world becomes borderless the demands of our firm and our clients are changing. Operating globally was inevitable and joining PKF gives us the ability to access a wider and deeper pool of expertise to meet these demands".
He described the alliance as "a natural fit, as we retain the ability to operate independently whilst gaining the ability to expand our global reach, making us a stronger brand in the industry. Our clients will continue to enjoy the personalised local service we have always offered, but also benefit from access to international resources, experts in specialist areas and high quality global connections".
The firm will mark their future as PKF Kennedy at their new premises, 81 Flinders Street Adelaide, in September after leaving their historic Unley location. Paul Jorgensen, Chairman of Partners PKF Kennedy said, "We purchased the building earlier in the year with a local syndicate but the move aligns perfectly to mark our exciting new future with PKF".
PKF Kennedy operates across a number of core areas including: business advisory, audit and assurance, tax consulting, corporate finance, IT solutions, business recovery & insolvency, and wealth management.
PKF International CEO, John Sim, said: "We are really pleased to welcome PKF Kennedy to the PKF International network as we continue to expand and strengthen the PKF brand. PKF Kennedy fits well with our value proposition of Quality with Integrity, and also meets our strategic objective of global coverage with quality firms."
Norm Draper, Chairman of PKF Australia said "By adding a quality Adelaide firm to our National Network we are now fully resourced in all of the major Australian markets."
PKF Kennedy will join the existing members with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Canberra, Hobart, Glenorchy, Tamworth, Walcha and Rockhampton with combined revenues in excess of $97m and over 70 Partners.
Dom Cosentino, Managing Partner said, "Every day we hear from clients how our services have helped to further their business, now with PKF the benefits are limitless. Our clients, our staff and the firm are excited for what the future with PKF will bring."
