PKF member firms honoured as employers of choice

We take great pleasure in reporting that many of our member firms have been recognised under renowned employer accreditation schemes.

Member firms in the US, the Netherlands, the UK and Singapore have all enjoyed recent success in such programmes, whereby anonymised feedback is collated from employees about their employers.

PKF O’Connor Davies, our North American member firm, has been announced as one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey by NJBIZ, New Jersey’s leading business journal. The firm attributes its success to its focus on the evolving needs of its employees, exemplified by pioneering flexible working programmes. For example, the firm operates a ‘Schedule Your Work Week Policy’, under which employees can decide for themselves where and how they work while balancing client needs and collaboration opportunities. Employees were also invited to work a four-day week over the summer months, supporting team members to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Dutch member firm PKF Wallast has recently been certified a Great Place To Work for the third consecutive year. The Great Place To Work programme comprises an employee satisfaction survey, which seeks employees’ opinions across five key areas. Stefaan Rodts, CEO of PKF Wallast, commented, “When I think of PKF Wallast, I think of great colleagues, wonderful clients for whom we want to make a difference, entrepreneurship, authenticity and being yourself. And, of course, one large PKF Wallast family.”

PKF Francis Clark, one of our UK member firms, has also been awarded Great Place To Work status. The firm strives to create a friendly and collaborative workplace culture through health and well-being initiatives, social events, volunteering opportunities and access to leadership programmes. Managing Partner at PKF Francis Clark, Andrew Richards, said, “I’m particularly pleased that some of the areas we scored highest in were about treating people fairly, caring about each other, making people feel welcome and being honest and ethical – these all reflect our core values.”

PKF-CAP LLP, our member firm in Singapore, has been named one of Asia’s Top Employers in the Banking & Services category by leading brand recognition think tank, Influential Brands. The award celebrates PKF-CAP’s outstanding success in the areas of employee engagement, company culture and HR practices.

PKF International CEO, Theo Vermaak, said, “We are so proud of our member firms for creating such exemplary workplace environments. The PKF network values its people as its greatest asset and I am delighted that so many of our member firms have been accredited as premier employers. Congratulations to you all.”
